Hilary Farr (aka Credited as Hilary Labow) as Betty Munroe Hapschatt

Hilary Elizabeth Labow was born on August 31, 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her mother liked to travel, so Elizabeth grew up living in several countries, including Australia and England. In 1975, Labow was living in an apartment, in London, under Tim Curry at the time The Rocky Horror Picture Show was being cast. She had already appeared in a few minor roles, so she was able to parlay an audition, and became Betty Munroe.

In the '70s and '80s, Hilary had a career in acting, though she also had an interest in interior design, and had several part-time jobs working on both television shows and home renovation. In 2008, she became famous for the HGTV series Love it or List It, with the name Hilary Farr, having taken her first husband’s last name when she got married. In addition to her television show, she is president of Hilary Farr's Designs, and is also a regular contributor to the Huffington Post.
