Medusa

The Medusa is a device used in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again. The Medusa is located on a panel in Dr. Frank N Furter's laboratory, along with the Sonic Oscillator, the Reactor Power Input, the Monitor, the Triple Contact Electro Magnet, and the Sonic Transducer. The function of the Medusa is to render anyone under it's power to become paralyzed or turned into stone. In The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it has two settings, "Medusa" and "De-Medusa". A successful operation in either mode is indicated by the appearance of the flash of a Lightning Bolt.
