"Shock Treatment" is a song written by Richard O'Brien and Richard Hartley that appears in Shock Treatment. It is performed by Dr. Cosmo McKinley, Dr. Nation McKinley, Nurse Ansalong, Janet Majors, Rest Home Ricky, Bert Schnick, Harry Weiss, and Emily Weiss. An alternate version of the song featuring Richard O'Brien is played over the closing credits of the film. The alternate version was released as 7" single, backed with "Overture".
