History

The Beautiful Creatures originally secured the Alamo Drafthouse showings on the 4th Saturdays to compliment their regular 2nd Saturday screenings at River Oaks. Because of the distance, the smaller audience capacity of the venue, and the inability to store props, it became more a "B" run cast. Rather than let the show's reputation slip, it was preferable to create a distinctly separate cast. Originally given to The Cherries, their inability to draw an audience led to a second offer extended to The Exceptional Beauties. Many performers from the The Beautiful Creatures continued to perform with The Exceptional Beauties so it was essentially a sister cast.
