The Wrecking Crew were a group of legendary Los Angeles session musicians that played on countless commercial releases including LPs by The Monkees, The Association, Sonny & Cher, Phil Spector, The Partridge Family, The Carpenters, and The Beach Boys. Many of their recordings are among some of the biggest selling and most widely heard records of all time. Several of these musicians played on The Rocky Horror Show - Original Roxy Cast LP. The Wrecking Crew is the subject of a 2008 documentary directed by Denny Tedesco.
