The Usherette is a character originated by [[Patricia Quinn]] in the original 1973 [[London Cast]] of ''[[The Rocky Horror Show]]''. The character represents the cinema usherettes of the 1920s through 50s that showed patrons to their seats and sold refreshments via a concession box worn at the waist.  In ''The Rocky Horror Show'', she literally ushers in the story by singing the opening number from the show, "[[Science Fiction, Double Feature]]", and later signals the conclusion of the show with "[[Science Fiction, Double Feature (Reprise)]]".

The tray she carried as the Usherette contains a prop with the words "Strawberry Time", which the cast then expanded to call her "Miss Strawberry Time", however the character is not referred to in the musical.
