Located in New Orleans, The Sena Mall Theater (part of the Walter Read chain) opened on March 27 1968. In 1977 it became part of the Gulf State Theaters chain, and became a vary popular, early location for The Rocky Horror Picture Show beginning in June of 1978, after the Gentilly Orleans Theater burned down.
