The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Fan Club an officially licensed organization by 20th Century-Fox for Rocky Horror fans.
Based in the U.S., the Official Fan Club has been in existence since 1977, with Sal Piro serving as the President. In the early years (long before the internet made information immediately available) The Fan Club had a newsletter called The Transylvanian, which included contributions from various members. Members who joined received a numbered membership card and a custom badge and updates on Rocky happenings.
As time went on, the cards became available on for no charge, though each one is numbered 4711.
