Grove Art Cinema was one of The First 30 US Theaters to show The Rocky Horror Picture Show as a weekly, ongoing midnight-only movie on July 2, 1977.
Owned by the "Fabulous Flying Fendlemen Brothers", this was the south's premiere Rocky Horror venue, and was the originator of a number of the audience lines and actions that are still in use today.
