Summery
Built in 1926. Operated by Landmark since 1989. A short drive north of the Stanford Shopping Center, the Guild Theatre was nestled right next to Downtown Menlo Park, two blocks south of Santa Cruz Ave on El Camino Real. The Guild featured independent and foreign language films.
Originally built as a burlesque house and converted to exhibit movies in the 1930s, it was one of the oldest standing theaters on the S.F. Peninsula, featuring two giant golden wings on either side of its gloriously large screen.[[Template:Citation needed]]
