The Roxy Theatre is a world famous nightclub owned by Lou Adler on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA. "The Rocky Horror Show" made it's American debut on March 21, 1974 where it played for nine months before moving to Broadway. The very first Rocky Horror costume contest was held at The Roxy Theater on October 31, 1974.
