The Transylvanian was the newsletter created and distributed by The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Fan Club beginning in 1977.

The initial editions were simple and grass-roots looking on white stock with black type and line art, and low quality graphics. As the club rapidly grew, the newsletter went national with the help of the Fan Club's business manager, Adam Sargis. Higher quality printing and photographs were added as well as color. Sal Piro and other early members of the Waverly Theater cast and the 8th Street Players were the main contributors. Early illustrations by Dori Hartley were also seen in the pages. Issue #2 is featured in Tim And Meat's One-Stop Rocky Horror Shop.
